About Smart Bet

The Smart Bet Charity Poker Tournament was founded by a group of dedicated entrepreneurs who have been getting together regularly since 2004 to network and discuss the entrepreneurial climate in the city of Chicago.

Last year Smart Bet’s twice a month charity poker games raised over $20,000 for charities near and far with many worthy missions. Any other group may consider this amount of philanthropic charity to be a success...but we’re Smart Bet. Our peculiar cast of regulars believes we can do more. In fact, we could double that amount in a single night. Right?

Thus begins a new Chicagoland philanthropic event not to be missed, the annual Smart Bet Charity Poker Tournament.
